Wasting water down the plug hole

With the news that much of the UK has been officially declared “drought status”, now is the time to consider how we use this precious resource.  We are told that showers use much less water than having a traditional bath, but do they.  Many of us use power showers and mega-flow systems.  Below is a diagram showing that average showers use between 9 and 45 litres per minute.  So next time you take a shower, think about how much you turn up the flow.  You might not be as green as you think.
