Part 3 of my wood/multi-fuel stove project

Just a very quick update on the project.  Since the last post I have had my first supply and install price back.  £2500 to install a multi-fuel, clean burn stove, line the flue (scaffolding), knock out the opening and make good.  My initial reaction is that it is a little on the high side and I was hoping for under £2000 for the project.  However, the news that we are in a smokeless zone means that the stove we had originally chosen can’t be used and they range of stoves available are all slightly more expensive.

In the next couple of weeks, I have two more contractors coming to have a  look and provide quotations.
